Union Jack Joy
After my initial experience with my Union Jack pillow, I made a template for the diagonal crosses. It was ugly and all wrong, which didn’t bother me a bit. I figured out what I did wrong and fixed it for the final creation. I couldn’t be happier with the end product. I believe the pillow will live in our living room, allowing me to enjoy it on a regular basis. I have been thinking about [...]

Amy and I scored our very own Slice machines. Fun! I did play with mine for a bit. I’ll write [...]

Lately, I’ve been getting into twitter, even after I swore I wouldn’t. Never say never. Right? I have Amy and Erin to thank for piquing my interest. Now I’m looking for the right tweets to follow. If you tweet, leave your twitter handle in comments. If you like to follow me, my twitter handle is rachelinslc. I know, very original and creative.

A Day at Quilt Market
On Saturday, I had the opportunity to spend a day at Quilt Market as a perk from the business my mom is getting going, more on that later. Not only was the day spent with good quilting friends, we found a couple of sponsored challenges for the Salt Lake Modern Quilt Guild, again details are still being flushed out. If you want more info, come to the guild meeting on Thursday. The Kona booth was [...]
