Quilting Weekend

I know that the weekend ended two days ago, but I still need to share my progress. Saturday kicked off my sewing with a Sewing Saturday session with the Salt Lake Modern Quilt Guild. I love these Saturdays, lot of fun chit chat and a bit of sewing. After Sewing Saturday and my obligatory trip to Costco, I set to work quilting my huge bed quilt. By the end of day Sunday, I was 75% done. I really should keep track of my hours. Let’s just say that it took a lot of hours to get that much work done. My biggest challenge is keeping the cats off the quilt.

Every time I turned my back or looked the other way, a cat would snuggle into the quilt. Apparently, the quilt already has their approval. With a bit of luck, I’ll finish the quilting by Friday. I’m making a big push. I’m ready to move on to my next project.

    Don’t ya love that they know when something is new or that you are working on it.. this looks great!

      Exactly! There are plenty of other quilts they can cuddle in, but they want the one I’m working on.
