Low-key Weekend

Tiny Elephants

Our Easter weekend was low key, just like I needed. Over the weekend, I managed to: Spend time with some quilting friends Paint my fingernails and toenails a nice robin-egg blue Read part of my book-group book Admire my new fabric from Hawthorne Threads Bake and eat ham Upgrade WordPress (Still working on personalizing my new theme) I think that covers it. I love these Saturdays, lot of fun chit chat and a bit of sewing. After Sewing Saturday and my obligatory trip to Costco, I set to work quilting my huge bed quilt. By the end of day Sunday, I was 75% [...]

Spring Break: Seattle and Victoria

seattlemosaic02

Yesterday, Ross and I returned from a seven-day trip to Seattle and Victoria. Instead of boring you with a play by play of the vacation, let me hit the highlights. Space Needle: Yes, it’s the typical tourist thing to do; yes, it’s expensive; and yes, it’s fun. We splurged for dinner. I have to say it was the most relaxing meal that I’ve had in long time. Ross and I enjoyed being with one another [...]
