Slow Going
Well this week has been slow going in the sewing department. I’m trying to stay focuses on 1-2 projects. Normally, I get side tracked by new projects when I’m in a transition phase with an active project. So while I was waiting for my fabric to get here, I started to sew my yo-yo’s together. Eventually, they will grow up into a throw pillow for our bed.
Lucky for me, the mail carrier finally delivered the much awaited fabric. This weekend, this fabric will magically turn into a border and quilt back. I do love the soft silky finish on Moda fabrics.
The best part of the mail delivery was a charm pack and layer cake of Central Park. When I’m done with project #1 and #2, I’ll get to play with my Central Park fabric. Right now, I’m planning on using a disappearing nine-patch pattern. This quilt will be all mine. I have no plans on sharing it with anybody.

I have Central Park in my tokyo quilt. . I’m thinking I’ll have to at least buy the yellow fabrics because I’m kind of having a love affair in my mind with yellow right now.
You fabrics are gorgeous. I’m excited to see what they turn into. As far as not sharing your quilt I know four cats that beg to differ.
Thanks. The cats can use it if they keep me warm at the same time.
