Last week, Brooke from Pitter Putter Stitch passed on some blog love by awarding me the Liebster Blog award.

Now it’s my turn to pass on this little award. I’ve nominated a few blogs that I’ve recently discovered.

• First up is Sandie at Sleepy Owl Studios. Sandie is a member of the bee that I just joined. Recently she’s made a New Wave quilt out of Castle Peeps fabric. It’s very cute. I like how she oriented her prints. Not only did she make the beautiful quilt, she quilted it on her own long-arm machine. Can I just say I’m jealous? I’d love to have that machine.
• Next is Kayli of Quilt Finishing. I met Kayli at the last Sewing Saturday for the Salt Lake Modern Quilt Guild. She’s just getting started blogging. She’s off to a good start. I’m impressed by her productivity.
• The last blogger is Amy of Sukie. I also met Amy through the Salt Lake Modern Quilt Guild. She’s working on a Tokyo Subway quilt. I’m very impressed at how flat and even it looks. Pressing her seam open has paid off for her. Now she’s lamenting all the white squares she still needs to cut. Amy: find a good movie and get lost in the process.

I hope you enjoy these blogs. Brooke, thanks for the nomination. It always feels good to be thought of and it reminds me how much I enjoy blogging. I love connecting with others and being inspired by all the creativity that is out there. Keep up the good work.
