Impulse Purchase
Today I made an impulse purchase. I blame Annemarie from Gen X Quilters. Today she wrote about labels she ordered through Sweetwater. Before I knew it I landed on Sweetwater’s Label Crew website and I signed myself up for the Label Crew Club.
All my reasons supporting an impulse purchase:
- First, I immeditately liked the labels. The designs feel fresh and contemporary.
- Second, I’ve wanted my own labels for some time. I’ve even tried making my own with iron-on transfers. So nobody had to sell me on the label concept.
- Third, I’ve wanted to be apart of a monthly subscription, but I’ve always thought the blocks-of-the-months clubs were too expensive.
- Fourth, the price is right. The subscription cost $6/month + $1.50 shipping. It feels reasonable. I hope it satisfies my need for getting presents in the mail even if they are from myself.
- And fifth, I can cancel at any time. So if I don’t use the labels within in the next couple of months, I’ll unsubscribe. Simple enough.
I really hope that I end up liking the labels. I’d like to buy more personalize labels. Until then, I patiently wait for the my February subscription to arrive. (Yet, one more reason for January to fly by.)

Hey! Blame?!?!? I’ll take that as a compliment!
Sweetwater’s stuff is pretty….sweet….
I think I’m going to join the label crew too!
Definitely a compliment. Now I have to patiently wait for my new labels.http://www.creativequiltgirl.com/wp-admin/#comments-form
