Getting Closer to a Kona Color Card
I’m getting closer to getting a Kona Color Card. A commenter pointed out that Handock’s of Paducah has them in stock, and an Etsy retailer has some on order. Apparently, they’re in the warehouse and should arrive any day. I’d rather purchase off Etsy. So I’ll exercise a bit of patience.

Wanted: Kona Color Card
I’ve got it my head that I need a Kona Color Card. I’ve been searching on the Internet for one only to find a ton of out-of-stock notices. What’s up? My search is now turning into an obsession. Does anybody know where I can buy one? All help is apprectiated.

Moving from Traditional to Modern
While browsing some new-to-me blogs, I found a tutorial for a Cathedral window block at A La Mode Fabrics. I was immediately drawn to the block. Christmas Throw Pillows
I finally turned the hexagon blocks into pillows. The finished pillow is 24″ square. The pillow insert part is 18″ square. For the picture, I used some other pillows for the inserts. I’ll get the correct pillow inserts before Christmas. I quilted the top with a holly and berry motif mixed in with loops. The first pillow is ok. The second one is better. A-maze-ing I
As I mentioned a few weeks ago, a childhood video game, A-maz-ing, inspired my latest quilting project. I thought it would be cool to make a quilt that was a maze. And I was right. I love it. The finished squares are 1″ and 1.5″ unfinished. Then I added a 1.5 unfinished border. When I squared up the quilt, I lost a bit of white border. I wish the white border was a bit larger. [...]
