I love chicken pot pies, but the frozen things in the store don’t cut it for me. I decided it was time for me to find a good chicken pot pie recipe. Today I started with this recipe from myrecipe.com. Wow! I was impressed, especially for a first try. Now you need to imagine a nice savory picture of chicken pot pie. I promise you’re imagination is better than my pathetic food pictures, which I blame on the lighting.

Recipe notes: I used a leek and my own pie crust instead of prepare crust. In the future, I’m going to look for better frozen vegetables. I’m kind of picky about my frozen veggies.
