Less Energy Than Yesterday

If i wasn’t so close to completing my daily blogging goal, I’d skip this post and go straight to bed. Alas, I’m so close I can count the remaining days on one hand. For as long as I can remember, the day after Thanksgiving is all about shopping. I’m not referring to the crazy before dawn shopping. Our shopping is more about serious girl fun. I believe the fun started as a way to celebrate a couple of birthdays, my mom’s and grandma’s.

Every year we gather at a local mall and shop until we can’t move. Normally the biggest dilemma is which make up brand has the best blockbuster make up package. This year, Lancôme won out. The beautiful thing about a tight economy is better customer service. It’s a case of survival of the fittest. Lancôme had a great make-up artist that made us all want to buy expensive make-up so we’d look great every day. Now we just need to find the make-up artist that does house calls.
