End of the Month
Jun 30, 2008 Life
Wow! It’s the last day of the month. Including this post, I have 2 posts to show for June. Really I was busy and had plenty of blog fodder. I just lack a few hours in each day to pull myself together. Well for the sake of my prosperity, here’s the highlights from the month.
Emptying the pond while in Michigan

Expanding the drip irrigation system

When we bought the house last year, the previous owner just ran a hose over the sidewalk to the parking strip. It only took me 2 months to convince Ross that we need a better method. Now that the pipe is under the sidewalk, it looks great. The wood chips are coming soon.

Camping with girls from church.

It felt great to be away from everything for a few days. I’m glad there are a few places not far from home that are beyond the reach of my cell phone.
New Luggage Tags

Wow! It’s been over two weeks since my last post, an unplanned blog break. The month has been busy. In a couple of days I’ll post some great pictures of me, my mom, and my sister emptying her pond. Truly an experience I won’t want to repeat in this life time. Until then, my new luggage tags.

Despite having red luggage, it’s always a challenge finding my luggage. I thought a unique luggage tag would make it easier to spot my luggage.
Details:
- Used a business card template for all my information
- Secured the the business card to card stock
- Laminated the with my Xyron thing
- Attached a grommet for a string or ribbon
OK, it isn’t highly creative, but I made them with stuff I had. Plus I accomplished my mission. Now our luggage is ready for our upcoming trip to Portland.
