I also vote for Quilter’s Home. It has some good articles, and lots of fun stuff too. Mark always makes me laugh, which is a very good thing!

I like Home Companion and American Patchwork, but I chose Quilter’s Home because of the content. I had the same problem, I wasn’t being inspired and I actually pieced up QH thinking I was getting Home Companion. I was so pleasantly surprised and renewed!!! Mark’s magazine is written for the modern and practical quilter. I love the decorating tips and the product information. I have tons of books and patterns, I need INSPIRATION and Quilter’s Home has become my muse. That’s why I subscribed to Quilter’s Home

You should get all three they each provide a varied background and complement each other. Also you should check out the ezine at http://www.fibreandstitch.com they don’t do much with quilts but they have some fun ideas for working with fiber (or fibre.)

My favorite is APQ. I subscribe to that one. The rest of them I leaf through when I’m at the library. If there is something that really catches my eye in one of the rest then I’ll go out and buy the issue. My favorites, though, are the special issues put out by APQ and F&P that come out once a quarter. They have fun projects beyond just quilts.
