Back on the Radar
OK, the blog and I fell off the radar over the last couple of weeks. I blame work. Fortantely, I didn’t stop making stuff. I just stopped writing about it. So what have I been up to? Knitting!
I’m not a huge knitter. I like knitting, but I can only manage so many craft outlets. Regardless, I knew I’d be traveling for a couple of weeks, all work related. Since knitting travels, I started a new project. See this cute hat!

It’s Hermione’s Cable and Bobble hat from Charmed Knits. This was the perfect project to take my knitting skills to the next level. For the first time, I made cables and bobbles. Successfully I might add. The knitting doesn’t stop here. Nope! I making the matching mittens. In fact, mitten #1 is done. I’m moving on to mitten #2. So far, I’m pleased.
My creative fun doesn’t end with knitting. Since I don’t have enough unfinished projects, I started something new, Heather Bailey’s paper topiaries. I love mine.

I love those topiaries. One of my favorite Christopher Lowel quotes was, “We have an explosion of topiaries!” I think that’s an adorable hat, but as you know, I’m a sucker for knitted hats.
That hat is on my list
Yours looks fab.
