My Favorite Shape

Quilting is all about shaps. During my short quilting career (I seriously started quilting in 2002), I’ve adoped a favorite shape: The Hexagon. Why do I like the hexagon? It can be divided into two (half-hexagon), three (diamonds), or six (triangles) pieces. When the shapes are colored with different values, optical illusions appear. A Field of Flowers

A finished a quilt. Yes! The binding took forever to attach. I guess I needed better movies from Netflix. Then I needed to wash it. I broken down and used pencil to make some of the quilting designs.
